C17200 beryllium copper is a supersaturated solid solution copper-based alloy. It is a non-ferrous alloy with good combination of mechanical properties, physical properties, chemical properties and corrosion resistance. After solid solution and aging treatment, it has a high strength limit equivalent to special steel. Elastic limit, yield limit and fatigue limit, and at the same time have high electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, high hardness, high creep resistance and corrosion resistance, used in the manufacture of various mold inserts, replacing steel with high precision and shape Complex moulds, welding electrode materials, die-casting machines, injection molding machine punches, corrosion-resistant work, etc. Beryllium copper strips are used in micro-motor brushes, mobile phones, batteries, and products, and are indispensable and important industrial materials for national economic construction.

More Stable Elastic load
Dimensional instability after stamping and heat treatment will also bring instability of elastic load. The biggest reason is the thickness accuracy of the material. Since the elastic load is proportional to the third power of the material thickness, the deviation of 1 μm cannot be ignored. Takeing the WONDER®’s strip as an example. In the case of a thickness of 0.2mm and a length of 1000m or more, the actual tolerance is within 2 μm. Stanford University originally used beryllium copper from other companies, and the defect rate due to unstable elasticity reached 15~20%. After replacing the WONDER® material, the product elasticity was stable, the defect rate problem was also improved, and the final product cost was reduced.
